ESENTEPE FUN, RUN AND RAMBLE 2014
Raising money for TULIPS (Help Those With Cancer)

The first event of the Esentepe Fun, Run and Ramble 2014, a Car Treasure Hunt, will take place on Saturday, 4th January.
Registration will be at the starting point which is Stevie’s Restaurant at Küçük Erenköy.
Teams can have a maximum of 4 participants, one to be the driver.
This event is not a race but is designed to be fun, with some skilful driving and map reading! Therefore the start will be a staggered.
Briefing will be at 1pm for a 2pm start.
Cost is TL30 per car and places are limited so pre-booking is essential.
Stevie is offering a “Welcome home buffet for only TL15 per person which MUST be pre-booked. Call Stevie on 0533 8494744.
There will also be a Quiz (sponsored by a UK Knight Templar!) and a Raffle

This is going to be such fun and a good way to bring in 2014 so come along and see if your map reading is as good as you think it is.

THE Car Treasure Hunt which started and finished at Stevie’s Restaurant and Bar in Küçük Erenköy, raised a whopping TL1,500 for Help Those With Cancer (Tulips).
This was the first event of the Esentepe Fun, Run and Ramble which will take place on Sunday, 6 April, starting and finishing at the Magic Bar near Esentepe.
With a starting line-up of 20 cars, the staggered start saw all competitors head off towards Esentepe via the old coast road.
Solving clues along the way, deciphering anagrams of items to collect, which included a can of cola, a mars bar and even an official stamp from the Mukhtar of Geçitkale, all added to the enjoyment and made the treasure hunt fun for all taking part.
At the finish, three entrants obtained 47 points so a motoring tie break question decided the eventual winners which were Mike Fields along with his three passengers, Roy Haskett, Lyn Sherrington and Julie Haskett. The winning team received a custom car service provided by TIGA cars.
After a short auction, raffle, motoring quiz and an excellent buffet the evening wound down at around 10pm
