Yes there is but I'm not entirely sure of the directions. I think it is signposted Larnaca on the main roundabout as you enter Famagusta from the Lefkosa road , so that would be a right hand exit as you enter the roundabout. I'm sure someone else will be able to give you more precise directions.

As Come_On_Aylin writes you should follow signs for Larnaca and there are indeed signs for Larnaca at many of the roundabouts in Mağusa.

However, here are a few directions:
- At the first roundabout coming from Lefkoşa you should take the turning that almost takes you back onto yourself. (ie. you turn for at least 300 degrees)
- Once onto this road you should see a number of car-repair places to your left (I merely write this so that you will know you took the correct turning).
- About 500 metres from the main roundabout, you'll come to a smaller roundabout - go straight over it.
- After another 100 metres or so, you'll come to a second (slightly larger) roundabout - turn left at that one.
- Then drıve for about 250 metres until you get to yet another roundabout.
- At this last roundabout, you turn rıght and you're onto the "Larnaca road"
- From the last roundabout it's probably about 3 kilometres to the crossing.

If coming along the Salamis road (as if from, say, Boğaz) just go straight-straight-...-straıght - you will eventually end up on the "Larnaca road".

And please give my love to Ayios Nik, best place I was ever stationed!

It used to be called "4 mile point", but the crossing is now probably now "2.5 mile point"!

Hi KP,
It's about another kilometre to the crossing point from the roundabout next to the old city. I guess the "4 miles" was the distance to the old city.
It probably means though that I underestimated the distance from "the last roundabout" to the crossing point by a kılometre or so. In any case, it's a straight road from that roundabout ... and all you have to worry about are a few speed cameras.

Had two great tours at Ay Nik....83 - 86 and 91 - 93. Great place, brilliant job and fantastic social life.

Lived in Dhekelia first tour and Beyermurdu (Pergamos) second tour.

Bit after my time Posh. I was there 60-62, though the last 6 months was at Pergamos/Beyarmudu.

Recently spent a few days in Poshtown with new Granddaughter (off topic!)
