Info required re selling a car

My friend has asked me to sell his car ..
What are the implications as circumstances prevent him coming to Cyprus for a while ..
Is it possible for me to sell, what will I need ? .. I have all the cars documents ..

When we sold we had to sign the form therefore I assume somebody with power of attorney will have to do it and a copy of their passport. We, the sellers and buyer went to the Muhtar to get the form witnessed but last time when we bought we the buyers were the only ones who went to the muhtar. the signed form and passport copy was enough from the seller.

Not sure if you can be naughty and send a form to him to sign and send back with a copy of his passport but if you went down this route I would go with the new buyer to make sure they change the name or your friend could arrive with lots of fines.

Make sure the passport copy is from the same passport that was logged when the car was purchased. They will not accept it if the numbers differ.
