Backwoods Girne
What a gem. Having purchased vouchers from Fisatkibris.com we had ordered a T bone steak and Beef tenterloin. The offer which was half price, included a glass of wine each. We booked by phone, advisable, and went upstairs to a bar area and was welcomed by a charming young lady who showed us into a small room with tables laid out.
A very polite waiter came to take our vouchers, asked how we wanted the meat cooked. We like it medium rare and that`s exactly what we got. It was the most tender, tastiest steak I have tasted in a while. They have only been in business a month and at the moment are not geared up for desserts. But the food was excellent and the wine, well the fact that we ordered 3 more glasses between us tells it`s own story.
We will most definitely be back and more than happy to pay the full price. They do have a facebook page.

I'm pretty sure I saw a sign for it near Pizza Town at the top of the High Street.

It is upstairs next to Pizza Town. Watch out for the tout at Pizza Town. We got conned into eating there, we originally gave him our vouchers, which clearly stated Backwoods, we even said to him these are vouchers for Backwoods, he gave us our glass of wine each, asked us how we wanted our steaks cooked.
Then after we started drinking our wines came back and said " Oh sorry, backwoods is next door and only open in the evening ". This was a lunchtime. We decided to try the food at Pizza Town anyway and I have to say it was the worst burger I have ever tasted. So just be warned.
