Are there any crab pools ?

Just wondering are there any really big crabs in NC ?

I used to go rock pooling as a kid and I enjoyed it ,but every time I visited I get stuck sunbathing really .

I wanted to look and may be take my grand kids now ,where is best ?

I Do,like some of the basics in life .

There are plenty of rock beaches to investigate, me and a friend spent an hour collecting shells just south of Bogaz.
And where there is shells there is likely to be crabs.
I'm in my forties by the way, and still like doing stuff like that.

As daft as it seems it's the basics we did when we were kids isn't it .
some think they invented the wheel but these skills are passed down lol
