Anyone know if there is a rug cleaning service here or if you can hire the equipment like back in the UK and do it yourself. Thank you

We take our rugs to be cleaned & have been pleased with the results. Go over the Lefkosa roundabout towards the Bellapais traffic lights, just after the mini roundabout to Dogankoy opposite Magic Touch there is a big yard on the right where they clean cars & carpets. It is next to the previous Ozgan Biney furniture shoo.

I have noticed a few car cleaning places clean rugs as a sideline.

We've always used David as he has the right equipment and doesn't just use a high pressure water jet.His number is 0542 850 7901

The car wash places generally do a fair job, but if you do have an expensive rug, or one marked 'dry clean only' then you should be aware that the colours might run - better safe than sorry!!!

If your rugs are acrylic the car washes are ok but if like me your rugs are wool then do not use the car wash places.

We use David for ours and he cleans the 3 piece suite as well, he always does a good job.
