Dagli Sigorta have successfully secured a free E C G examination, free Cholesterol testing, blood sugar and blood fats testing, free blood pressure testing and a free doctor consultation, on a once a year basis for all their customers. This new facility is from the Kamiloglu Hastanesi, Kyrenia Medical Centre, which is located in Girne, close to the H S B C bank in Girne.

For your appointment, queries or anything else related to medical matters telephone 0533 824 2999, the person who will answer speaks excellent English. Because the hospital is located in Girne, it is far more convenient for many, than having to travel all the way to Lefkosa for the same tests and consultations.

As a Dagli Sigorta customer this is excellent news. I have my TRNC car insurance with this company. In this instance does the free medical include my wife who is a named driver on the policy. Also I see that someone has already booked their appointment to have the medical but has anyone been for this particular one yet and could give any feedback?

Yes I went on Tuesday. There is Jane on left hand reception who is English and an English Dr. on reception who is helping to set it all up. I'm afraid I only know her name as Irene, not as her proper "Dr. Name" . Very fast, as went in straight away for blood test then while they are doing the results, you have a coffee and fill out registration form , by which time the results are through which you take in to the doctor. The doctor then goes over the results with you, and someone came in to take my blood pressure. I did have to ask for an ECG as the doctor didn't realize I was supposed to have one, but I'm sure that was just a teething problem, but if it isn't offered remember to ask. To be honest I did feel the doctor could have gone into more detail for me, her English was ok, but she kept her words to a minimum. I'm sure as this set-up goes on it will all settle down and any hic-cups ironed out. Great hospital, I've been before with back problems.

Everyone there was very helpful, and Irene is there to answer any other health queries

Everyone who registers gets the free blood test, but from what I understand Dagli Sigorta customers get a full check up. Trevor's info said that we will be receiving a card to show at the hospital, maybe worth checking with Trevor.

No, it's not a full check up, it's as goody says at the top of this page, also you don't need the card, providing you are a customer of Dagli Sigorta. Trevor has given the hospital a list of everyone's names..
