Renewal passport - supporting documents ?

Has anyone recently renewed their UK passport from here and if so what supporting documents did you send ?
I have completed the application on line - have my bar code - photos done and now i am looking at which 1 item of supporting document for Identity, name and address evidence to send. The choice is as well as old passport ;
National ID card
Visa or residency permit (mine expires in March and will be in my old returning passport - but it states "Visitor")
Tax record
Education record
Employment record
Letter sent to me from a central, regional or local government dept

Any help appreciated.

When we did our a renewal for our son from here, we just sent a copy of the Visa page (even though it said Visitor) as it was valid at the time of sending. Another thing you could photocopy perhaps is an electricity bill? Hope this helps. If you are not sure, phone the passport office in UK, they are very helpful

When mine was renewed the consulate, a few years ago, put a sticker on my current visa page in my old passport and wrote do not cancel this page on it. When the old passport was returned to me the visa page had not been corner clipped like the rest of the passport.

I am going to be sending mine off soon as i lost my passport i am a citizen here so i do have a kimlik card but i didnt want to send that off incase i needed it, does any one know if the paper the muhtar gives you is acceptable? He fills out a form proving your address which he signs and stamps i have got it from him a few times for various reason and it is normally all in turkish but i was going to find out if i can get it in english. If i could does any one know if that is ok as i dont have anything else to send my bills are not in my name and i have never had post to my house in my name either.

I have just renewed my UK/European passport this last fortnight, all I sent was my old passport and a passport photograph that meets their requirements , no other documents were needed.
