where to get the car windows fitted with dark film ?
anyone know who fits this dark film for the car windows to help keep the sun out

Andrew I am unable to help you with this but my response will bring your post back to the top in the hope that there is someone who has the answer. You will of course have to monitor the level of tint in the film as there have been reported cases of convictions for those deemed to have exceeded the levels permissible by local law.

of course am not looking for total black out, just the usual tinted stuff to help keep the sun out a bit

The shop that did ours was Alsancak way, on the right coming from Ozankoy.

yes that's the one that's closed its now,its been replaced with an off licence which looks like they have a good range of imported wines etc and also signs up say there giving discounts if you bulk buy CHEERS!!

Good News!
I just found out that the Hot Wheels chap has simply moved closer to Girne - he's between the Wednesday Market / 'Fountain' roundabout, and Mr Pound, on the same side as Mr Pound.
Heading into town from the direction of Alsancak, after the roundabout, there's a little army depot, and then a building that comes right up to the roadside - it's that building - or so I am informed

i had a look its only a spares shop but the old hot wheels van was parked near by
