Came through in January at 11.30 pm she was just about to close.

I've never had a definitive time of opening / closing of the insurance booths at Metahan and they seem to vary in winter.

We came through last Saturday. I'd arranged insurance online with Sadattin Kaynak who said he'd meet us at Metahan at 21.00 Saturday and he did. He was in one of the booths. Saadattin's mob number is: 0090533 8833636 and his email is: saadattinkaynak@me.com

You may like to arrange something with him beforehand.

I have amended my response as it appears to have caused offence to the OP, for which I apologise: -

The Insurance business on our (TRNC) side is is run by Turkish Cypriots, who open and close at times of their own choosing.

The Insurance booths on the South side are run by Greek Cypriots who also open and close at times to suit themselves.

The two sets of businesses, being run by two different nationalities, in different countries, which do not 'talk' to each other, and rarely co-operate on anything are entirely independent of each other.

Therefore, you can expect that the opening times will not be coordinated in any way.

I understand the frustration of the OP, but agree with Keithcaley's response seeking more accurate and detailed information as to direction of travel in order forum readers may offer advice. The fact this has caused offence is regrettable, but the initial post, like so many on TRNC forums, was vague. That said, I do not have an answer - hopefully, others may once they know season/travel direction et al.
