I will shortly be starting a restoration project. The house is relatively straightforward but the garden is not.
Looking for any recommendations for a landscaper with tremendous flair for design. Not your joe blogs standard gardener.
A plunge pool to be incorporated in a cottage garden with waterfall, amphora pots, lemon tree, stone wall, possibly a bridge over water leading to roof terrace and small garden is on two levels. Need some help getting my head around this one, as right now it is all well overgrown!
The ideas are there, just need some help/advice from a professional.

The man at Mediterranean Garden Centre won an award for garden design a few years ago, I would try him see what he can come up with.
Be wary of Joe Bloggs standard gardeners who will tell you that they are designers too. Ask to see gardens they have done previously.
Your future garden sounds lovely, looks like you have designed it yourself already and I envy you the finished product. Good luck with it all.

Celen at Gardens of Babel (sign posted on the left hand side of the main road as you go into Lapta).
I would take suehowlittle's advice and ask to see a number of gardens that they have created before you make any decision.
You could always use a tactic we did when checking out our builder before we went ahead with him: as we were driving around he was boasting about theis house and that house that he had built so we actually went and knocked on a few of these houses doors at a later date and without our builder, explained our position and they were more than happy to give us the good points and the bad without the builder hovering over their shoulder!
