It seems that HBPG are no longer in existence perhaps this could be confirmed by readers please?
Has anyone obtained their Kocan despite their builder owing tax & leaving the country, if so could you point me in the right direction please.
Each lawyer seems as bad as the one before!

Re: Has anyone paid VAT & stoppaj for absentee bankrupt buil
Yes I did this last year along with purchase tax and VAT and estate tax.
It is essential that you use a solicitor who is not bent (if you can one!) and you will need receipts from the correct tax offices as well as your Kocan. This will prevent you from paying twice if you just give the cash to the lawyer.
I can recommend a lawyer who will did this for me along with having the landowner and developer sign extra declarations to kick them off your site and prevent any liability to them in future
Good luck!
