extend broadband problems advice re better company
is there anyone else experiencing issues with thier extend broadband ?
we upgraded to a better bandwidth, and just constantly have trouble even loading google home page.
tried for 2 hours last night to book flights it would have been easier to travel to mars via shuttle!
any feedback would be appreciated as i am now looking to change providers....so any suggestion folks please

If you go along the changing provider route, my advice is multimax. I have only had 2 problems in 2 years with it running slow and both times it was sorted straight away. There were a few hiccups at the start with calls being unanswered etc, but that is all sorted, I have found the staff to be friendly and polite.
I don't have "TV" I watch everything via my PC and downloads.

Finding a new provider will depend on your location. Not all ISPs are "Country Wide". This is a very small market, being made smaller.

We had the exact same problem with the extend broadband, it went on for months. They kept saying we didn't t have a problem,the telephone company came out and said we didn't have a problem,but most days it wasn't even worth trying to access the internet. We have been with Multimax for the last 6 months and I have to say they are fantastic. The connection is great,very fast and reliable and on the couple of occasions it has gone off they have resolved the situation very promptly.

We had a problem with extend in girne but on moving to esentepe they were the best now with multimax and are very good in the karalanoglu area but still have problems in the evening I assume through volume of people using it.

Don't know if you have noticed the thread but the owner of MM has asked you to mail him directly to try and resolve this.

Lucky you people who can have MM!!! As confused says, some of us are not so lucky and have to put up with above problems. My internet comes via nethouse, but it's not impressive. The only reason I haven't changed, is, I don't know who is better?
MM is not an option for me as they are not planning to come this way (DIPKARPAZ). I don't even know what choices I could have??

Not sure what your result will be but often it is easy to assume it is down to one thing or another. i have used the online help facility on occasion, sometimes there is not someone there but often there is and you can speak to a real person in real time who has access to what is going on, I think that is pretty good for here.terry2366 wrote:Yes done that thanks I thought it was a problem I had to put up with so will see what happens.
