Hi Folks
You will struggle with this one, I tried for a while to find a projector selling shop just popping in here and there in Girne and Gazimagusa and did not come across any, the nearest I got was that a shop in Girne could get me a projector screen if I wanted, but no projector, so I am now in the process of bringing one in from the UK as hand luggage next week, so you all bring the pop corn and it's round to mine for a movies night next week

Why not pop to the mall if Cyprus they sell them in the ship on the second floor. Sorry can't recall it's name but you can't miss it. It is located at the opposite end to debenhams if that helps. Quite a nice shop

There '' was'' an electrical shop that sold DJ and projector equipment in Lefcosia.
When you go through Kyrenia gate up to the Saray hotel there is a turning on the right that goes behind the police station it was 20mtrs on the right.
It was a large outlet but it quite a while since I was last in the shop looking for a VHF transceiver.

Hello Aitchie,
If I can't find one here, I'll be doing the same thing next time I'm back in the UK. Popcorn sounds good!
Hello Bert,
I got busted last week on the way back from IKEA, so I'll have to avoid going South for a while.
Hello Karmels,
I'm waiting for an e-mail from the Electrical shop just down from the Samsung shop in Girne, to confirm what they have in their shop in Lefkosa, which may be the place you've described. I'll take a look down there, once I've worked out where you mean.
Cheers,
Eddie

Re: Home Cinema Projector
Hello Aitchie,
No replies from the most of the shops that I've contacted, and the only projectors that I have found have been discontinued models, at crazy prices.
I've been busy with the contractors who are are fitting out our basement, where the cinema room will be, so I've not had enough time to chase them up yet.
Looks like I'll be buying the projector in the UK!
Cheers,
HH
