Hi all coming out to stay for 2/3 years at least, instead of being a 'swallow'

I'm sure I vaguely remember reading something about being able to have Cyprus loaded onto a Tom-tom & the place being in Kyrenia. Can anyone throw any light on this for me. It would be useful as we did experience the motorway to Larnaca being shut one dark night & had to find our way around Lefkosa/Nicosia in the dark to get on further down when we were picking someone up from the airport.

I could not get my TomTom upgraded for Cyprus, however, Eranav have slim satnavs for use all over Cyprus and the UK from around £60. They also have a little gadget that warns you when you are approaching a fixed speed camera (in Cyprus) for around the same money. Their details: Era Navigation - sales@eranav.com or http://www.eranav.com Location: as you enter Girne from the roundabout heading towards the Colony Hotel on your left, their shop is on the third floor of a block of shops on the left, about 100 metres before the Colony. I have both satnav and speed camera warning device and are delighted with them.
