I ran a scan but there is nothing abnormal.I click on the X and close it but it keeps coming back also Google is no longer my home page but new tabs come up. Grrrr.

Don't tell me Putin is starting to sabotage, as well as Erdogan?

Only a guess, but search your system for Yandex. If it is there, get rid of it!! Use something like Revo uninstaller or file assassin.

Deniz 1-This sort of thing happens a lot.
You have either installed some new software,or have upgraded some software that was already installed.
Like most folk you have just pressed the tick box without checking what you have actually agreed to, and often lots of things you don't really want in your computer get installed.
In short you have got some 'Malware' in your computer.
Now if you will repost and tell me what OS(operating system) you are using, i.e. windows xp.
Then tell me what browser you are using,i.e. firefox -and finally tell me your level of computer expertise is I can help you further.
If you don't want to bother with this install a progam called 'malwarebytes -you can get the free version here-
https://www.malwarebytes.org/free
Then update the program(it might do it automatically)then do a full scan and delete whatever it finds.
Hope this helps

Hi Philoz I installed the malwarebytes and used it but still get the pop up box. I have windows 7 home premium and normally use google chrome but have firefox too. As to my expertise well not a lot! lol. I dont recall downloading anything new recently. Thanks for trying to help.

If Malwarebytes does not work try AVG free

I installed filehippo.com free clicked cclean, then went onto the list of programmes and you have an option to uninstall.
