Re: Easyjet question
One piece of hand luggage only! I got told to put my handbag in my hand luggage, even though I said I would only take it out again once on board, rules is rules. I have managed to get away with a small crossbody bag under my coat.

Re: Easyjet question
What about laptops????? Or can one use that in which to stuff the handbags? Toruble is my handbag is bigger than the laptop bag -0 so maybe I should do it the other way round. Seriously, does anyone know if they wsill allow laptops as well. I have always been able to in the past but I know that things can change.

Re: Easyjet question
Just returned with Easyjet............ 1 bag only........Laptops count as luggage!. Be very careful, i had my wheelie trolley case with me but would not fit into the test cage at the gate. was told to pay 44 euro or put the contents into another bag that fits. Put contents into 2 carrier bags because you are now allowed to take a "carrier bag" with you as well. However the extra bag HAS to be a duty free bag from the airport. SO either buy something at the duty free or any shop at the airport that supplies a "duty free" bag and put the laptop in that!.
In my case i was not allowed to do this, as my bag wasnt duty free, so left my trolley case at the airport .
No such thing ever with MONARCH...........

Re: Easyjet question
Its one bag, most trolley bags are OK, so best to take one of those, and leave enough space to pop your handbag into it before you check in. Check the max dimensions of the bag on their website, if it looks close they will ask you to put it in the 'test frame' at check in. Good thing about easyjet is I've never had my hand luggage weighed, whereas Thomson's are sticklers for that.

Re: Easyjet question
Easyjet do not weigh hand baggage - as long as you can lift it into the overhead locker they don't care how much it weighs. They recently reduced the allowed size for hand baggage to 50x40x20cm including handles and wheels for most customers - the full details are on this link http://www.easyjet.com/en/planning/cabin-baggage

Re: Easyjet question
Cross body bag and bum bag were against the rules for a couple in front of my friend, who flew into Paphos recently, they were both told to remove them and put them in their hand luggage.

Re: Easyjet question
Yes, I cannot stand them. Sadly, where we live we are stuck with them, unless we want to fly Air Berlin, change at Düsseldorf, and take 5 hours to get to Stansted.
Can you imagine, your carry-on fits easily into their grid at Munich, but does not fit the one at Gatwick on the way back?
