Went to Lintons in Ilgaz again on Mothering Sunday, I must say again the food and staff 110%.
This restaurant if they keep their chef and other staff have got it made. Long may they continue.

Do you know if this place is open during weekdays. Have tried to find the website as advertised in the paper last week but no joy...it says the website is unavailable. Would like to go tomorrow for lunch. Thanks

I was there on Sunday as well, having said on a previous thread I would not go again. too many memories of Sean and Sue, but friends told in the car, where we were going!!I have to admit that I buried the ghost and was glad I went. Enjoyed it very much, talking to the new boss, he told us that he poached one of the chefs from the Cratos Hotel! Hope it continues to be successful.

Have just spoken with the owners and at present they are open everyday except Mondays. In May they will open 7 day a week for lunch and dinner reservations.

We went yesterday for lunch. It was absolutely gorgeous. Impressive menu, how we like to see it. Not too much on there. If there is too much then nothing is done very well. The chef is excellent. No criticism at all about the food, service, atmosphere, location, absolutely beautiful. Will definitely be going again - SOON!!

Kiplet, you turn towards Ilgaz at the sign for Green Heights Botanical Gardens. Just keep going. It says 3 km from the main road but it felt like more than that, but well worth it. There are a few more signs as you get higher up, then you come to the driveway, which is quite steep. Nice big car park.....and fabulous views....and food of course. Enjoy.
