No Photos - no prices??

I can never understand why folks want to sell something and never state the price or show pics! Why?? it would save so much time and effort for all if that was done as standard prior to posting. Is there some sort of prior help for folks before they post? I am sure there is but maybe not too easy for new folks? Don't want to upset anyone - just a thought.

A very valid thought. I know I hate it when I see something in a window with no price tag. I always assume I cannot afford it and move on. And maybe people feel the same on the forum.

So, yes, good idea - that everyone who wants to sell posts pictures and gives an indication of price.

I think you just posted what a lot of people think and just not bother in posting...
Really there is no excuse in not posting the price. I mean you are selling something and want to get rid of it; It is a waste of time for someone to call just asking for price. then its annoying to get a call about an item and then find out nope they don't want it after all... they just wanted to know the price..
About the picture, well I can sort of understand why it may be a little hard to post. depends on the way you take the picture. pixels or how many bytes or what file. Even through emails sometimes its the same problem "file too big."
But : what so annoying is you get someone interested and you reply to their question.... and you are left in the dark with your hope of selling and waah wahh wahhhh no. no "no thank you" or "sorry, changed my mind" ...

It Drives me mad when someone has actually sold something and then they don't bother to alter the "For Sale" message to "Sold" Is that too much to ask.? I also agree about people showing an interest. They contact you via pm and you reply and then NOTHING, Nowt, Zero, Zilch. OR you do reply and the message is left in your own Outbox and never picked up.

Likewise are the posts seeking advice on who can supply services without stipulating a geographical area, I can recommend a tiler/plumber/whatever in the Esentepe area to discover the original poster lives in Lapta or Iskele - it puts me off trying to help. Mods, can you not devise a simple template for such requests to include relevant data fields?
