My forum screen has changed
Wondering if I have accidentally clicked on something?
My Forum screen has completely changed. I have ads on the left, ads in the centre, the thread list is all "scrunched-up", with titles extending over 2 or more lines, and stuff that was at the top of the screen has moved to the right hand side, causing horizontal scrolling.
Can't find anything in settings. Can anyone help please?

Re: My forum screen has changed
You are not alone - I have the same thing.
The main forum page looks ok but once you go into each section ie sales, wanted and this one the front pages are all scrunched up.
I am assuming it is not us.

Hi, I had been playing around with coding, but should be sorted now. I have tested pages on 3 different browsers IE, Firefox,Chrome, and all seems OK. If you still have pages that are messed up, then please try refreshing your screen or clearing your cache.
If still the same, please can you let me know.
Thank you.

Re: My forum screen has changed
There is another slight problem I have noticed. When a topic moves to a 2nd page the message numbering returns to 1.
eg. the current popular topic "Ashamed to be BRITISH " has no 100 of 116 as the last message of the first page but no 1 of 116 as the first message of the 2nd page - not 101 0f 116 as I would have expected.

JBA, will look into this.
But with problem with Pages being out of line, this has been fixed. Just refresh your page or clear your cache to check.

Not being a techie, how do you clear your cache and what effect does that have on your computer. The reason i ask is that i have a couple of sites then when I have cleared my cookies accidentally they say that they don`t recognise my computer and I end up having to phone the U.K to get things reset.

Hi Looseboots,
You do not need to clear your cookies when clearing your cache, there is a tick box option when deleting. Go to File, Options, Clear History (uncheck cookies if you want to keep same). It good to clean up every now and again. All it does is remember all web pages you visit, keeps a copy and when you next visit it downloads pages faster... but with broadband nowadays...what can I say.

Re: My forum screen has changed
The picture that IPman has put on this thread is what I am getting. I have tried, like Looseboots, something went wrong with the screen and my son has just helped me get back to where I was before but not on here, still the same. Not touching anymore, will carry on looking at small squares :0)
