Can anyone confirm that you don't need to go to the police with all the usual documentation for renewals. I have been on the BRS site, and it suggests to me that all the paperwork is just for first applications. My query is that if this is the case, how do you get the police number etc for your tests at the hospital, or do you just go to the hospital get your own tests and then take them to the police. Any help appreciated

Are you aged over 60? If yes, you do not need medical tests, go straight to Lefkosa Immigration and complete the form provided there. If no, go to your local area police hq with all the necessary paperwok. Hope this helps.

Under 60, I know that you need the tests still, I must be reading the info wrongly. I am under the impression that you can get the tests done without the letter from the Muchtar, you don't need the photos or the stamps if your under 60 and this is your 2nd or more times that you have applied.
Think I will stick to the original first timer rules. Thanks for the reply

If you are under 60 you have to go to the police stn as normal with all the usual paperwork where it will be checked, then you will be given a ticket to go to the state hospital to pay for your tests. You then go as directed to the nominated hospital ,take the tests return to the police stn with the receipt and your paper work, they will complete your form and send it to immigration. After 2/3 days you return to the hospital for them to check the TB scratch test, they will give you your results in a sealed envelope.
