Why do you move my thread
Why is my thread for ultimate sun shade moved to sales when other are left advertising on main board e.g heal and hammoth, bestseller, laptop for sale etc.

Re: Why do you move my thread
that's a good question! Unfortunately only Soner can answer, but I reckon (and what do I know???) that it could/should be split. Uniformity says equality in this instance, but as I say, it is up to Soner. But I definitely think a split posting is the answer or everything goes in for sale, but of course I never read the 'for sale' stuff cos I am not looking for anything, but if I read it on the main board I might think 'Yea, I could do with one of those.

Re: Why do you move my thread
For those of you that may not know, I have had two eye ops over the last 3 weeks, for lens implants as my sight had been deteriorating rapidly, possibly due to the line of work I am in, being on the computer up to 18 hours per day most days. So, I have not been active on the forum during the last 3 weeks due to the operations, but have tried my best to keep my businesses going and also responding to queries and problems on the forum. Still see halos of light, have glare and slight double vision but will improve with time, my brain just needs to adjust to the new artificial multifocal lenses. Manzara, the product you are advertising was also mentioned by the owner of the Esentepe website, so there has been multiple links to this website. I do not mind people advertising their business on the Kibkom forum and when it gets busier all posts advertising businesses will be moved by moderators to their relevant sections. What I do not like is when businesses deliberately try to use the forum to drive traffic to their websites. As I have mentioned before the Kibkom Forum is also a business, I pay out money to keep it going each month and I also invest by spending money to try and build it up. Initially, the Kibkom Directory / Forum was a 10 year project, and still remains that way, if it takes off and works then all well and good it was worth me investing in it. If it does not take off and no money is generated, then after 10 years I told myself that I would leave it as a gift to the people of Northern Cyprus, as the telephone and business directory will by then be an extremely useful tool. Businesses are registering daily and the database has grown tremendously over the last 2+ years. with over 90,000 tel numbers and more than 7,000 businesses registered. As members know, I have offered to pay out profits to charities at end of year for 1st 3 years - so I do not think there is anything that I am doing that is wrong or unfair. The site is totally free for members to use and communicate with each other. The only form of income that is possible to generate is through selling advertising space, this is a business and businesses need to generate some form of income, fact. If companies wish to advertise their business on this forum which is generating a fair amount of daily traffic, then please do consider buying one of our advertising banners to promote your business, prices are reasonable so do contact me for details: info@kibkom.com Advertising on Kibkom will hopefully help your business as it will help my business, and will do some good for others, in the process. Nobody likes the idea of other businesses riding on the back of their business. Why would Kibkom? My moderators will start moving wrongly placed posts to their relevant sections, however, as forum is still quite new, do post on the main page, if interesting it may stay there for a few days before being moved , however, this will be down to the discretion of my moderators.

yEP. o THIRD THAT. In fact I think soner should put this as an 'announcement' for all to see so that all that he says does not get lost as this thread disappears. How about it soner?
I also think it is only really fair that any business which is putting miltiple postings to get customers should consider paying for advertising, and/or some other rules set in place (which Soner can think about when he is better. I knew he was having eye ops, and I am sure we all wish him well.

Re: Why do you move my thread
Could I just add this: -
Each time I visit this Forum, I click on the "View unread posts" link, or the "View new posts" link, and it shows me all the posts since I last visited / read the Forum - no matter what section they are in - so I don't miss anything, even if it does get moved.
When I've read everything that interests me, I return to the 'main page' and click on the "Mark topics read" to clear the decks for my next visit...

Re: Why do you move my thread
Thanks all.
Deputydawg, my vision is really good now better than 20/20 they say, better than 20/10 too whatever that means. Just takes time to adjust. Can read small text no problem, just long distance still needs time to adjust as see double at the moment. Another week or so and all should be well, touch wood.
Thanks again.... Amazing what can be done these days.
