A pleasant surprise

On May Day I had an argument, in my car, with a considerably high kerb. I was reversing at the time and could not see the high kerb behind me; unfortunately it dislodged the rear mud flap. A visit to our normal garage proved useless as they were closed for the Bank holiday. A Friend recommended the garage down on SUNSET BEACH. John, the owner, was not only pleased to do the small job there and then, he did it quickly and efficiently which allowed me to continue with my planned day.
Whilst there I got my husband to mention that we thought the car was due for a service and asked John to look at it and give us a quote. We then held our breaths awaiting the price for the service and the current job. John returned and requested a nominal amount for the current job and said he had checked the oil and looked around the car and in his expert opinion the car did not require a service, oil still clean etc. What a pleasant surprise.
We were both ecstatic that we had not got to pay-out more money, and also the fact that John was so professional and honest enough to tell us that the car did not require a service, he could have just taken our money for nothing.
