Approximate cost of a replacement crown?

If anyone has had any crowns replaced here could you give me an idea of what I should expect to pay. Many thanks.

I had my front tooth rebuilt it was 700 tl including x rays and consultation.

My dentist quoted 800TL each for first time crowns, but, and I say this with a hushed voice!, Shhhhh!........ "with BRS membership there is up to 20% discount"!!!!

What are your crowns made of? I ask because the dentist removed 2 of my old ones today because they were cracked and were the old style porcelain on a metal type base and is fitting the new ones tomorrow. I can't remember what they are made of but they are without any metal and the cost is 2700TL. I have to say I thought it seemed a vast amount and it certainly does more so now that you both have told me the cost of yours.

Why do people always insist of going to with the first price from their regular dentist ? This is the TRNC they will always play on your loyalty and you will end up paying for it. I had mine done 4 years ago and got it down by 70% once I had asked around. I suggest you cancel and do some research. Oh and tell them why I bet the price will tumble then !!
