Hi, does anybody know of any adult classes held anywhere? I had a sudden urge for creativity (painting, pottery or anything really) or to join a class this morning. I have no idea where that came from but I just wondered if anyone knew of anything? Thanks in advance for any information.

Hi,you don't say were you live.So for the West side of Kyrenia I know there's a group of ladies who meet up on Tuesdays from 2pm at Jessics Bar.They do various needlework/knitting etc. Sally runs the class, she would be able to tell you if and where any painting/pottery classes are held as I know she's done both.
Hope this helps.

The Life Long Learning Centre in the heart of Kyrenia, next to Anafartalar school does wonderxful classes. Now c losed for the summer, but starts up in September. for only 100tl a year you can enjoy allkinds of crafts, from woodwork , painting, silk work, patchwork and much, much more.

can give you details if ingterested. it is for men and women but currently a bit overloaded with ladies - good thing or bad thing, it needs balancing a bit. But really great work.

Hi Marions, sounds interesting, but these things always tend to be held in the mornings when I am busy. Can you give me any ideas of the times the classes are held please and where exactly is the school?

these are indeed mainly mornings, but there is one day that does afternoons. Can't remember which ones now but will look it up for you and give you details. soon, I promise, but for now, I am desperatley trying to finish two things before going to bed - which is likely tobe 2a..m at this rate. so please bear with me.

anyone who is serious about finding out what the Life long Learning Centre will be doing, I would recommend they phone the headmaster. it could be that in September it will be a different programme - maybe even bigger. so, here is the name and phone number of the head, who I am sure owuld be happy to answer quesitons (providing he is not on holiday somewhere exotic. ) Mehmet Erenler, 0533 860 9868 Hope that helps.

Yes there is a painting class, but as I say, come September the timetable might be different.
