Internet connection with windows 8.1

My modem will not connect with kktcell 3g internet with windows 8.1 but did with windows XP. Does anybody have any input on this or can you tell me who I could contact about it

I am using KKTC 3G dongle with windows 8.1 ok . It connects differently I think.
