Hi, wonder if anyone can help ? I want to replace 24 lower paned double glazed glass units in my doors with inset UVPC solid units to match existing wood framed door frames. Do not know where to start and who does anything like this.
Any advice much appreciated
Thanks

I would start with a door and window shop lots around.

Hi Holly, are the current frames UVPC or metal?
If they are metal I have had one door deglazed and metal panel inserted. It was not cheap.
If they are UVPV should not be a problem. go to Dogpen They manufacture UVPC stuff I think.
By removing glass and inserting UVPC you are making you home less secure as well. Easier to kick in then glass.
