Salamis Bay Conti Resort

I am currently looking around for somewhere to stay for the first two weeks in December.

I can get a very reasonable price for 2 weeks all-inclusive at the Salamis Bay Conti Resort near Famagusta.

On Tripadvisor there are varying reports from people who've loved it there and from others who were far from impressed.

Has any-one on here stayed there all-inclusive and, if so, could you please give me a few pointers, especially if you stayed in a standard Twin room, which is what I would be in if I go.

Are the rooms clean/roomy? Is there a decent view? Is the TV satelite with english channels? Assuming all inclusive drinks are limited to 'local' drinks [can't complain at that] does that mean produced on the island, or does it include turkish drinks (eg Effes). I ask this as a number of reports on Tripadvisor simply refer to the all-inclusive cocktails. I don't want to pay for AI and then have to fork out for a beer!

Is the food varied and a decent standard? Does the food-hygiene appear to be of a good level?

Are there any 'hidden extras' that we could fall foul of; things one would generally expect to be part and parcel of AI that are not included in the price?
