Recent transfer from Edinburgh - Ercan

Hi folks
just sharing my different experience this trip
Arrived Istanbul no problem and usually I have had to trek firstly through security and then long trek to gate. However, on Wednesday, the plane almost landed at the next gate! Off up the walkway and met by a security chap who only looked at the boarding pass and hey ho couple of minutes later at the next gate for Ercan. No security check as usual but simply got on the connecting flight to Ercan!
It was brill in comparison to what in the last couple of years I have experienced. Long may it last! I was a wee bit concerned about the baggage coming with me but no problem, infact first bag off, and noticed it had a tag saying rapid transfer!
Full marks to Turkish Airlines!

For me Turkish Airlines 10 out of 10 every time. Flew with them from Manchester 3/4 times a year for over 10 years(admittedly no competition)Never a problem. nearly always in time, plenty of leg room in economy.Pleasant staff, reasonable food. Only lost one bag in all that time, on our last flight from the UK to live here. Came on the next flight.

We had the same onlast Sundays flight, no messing about just straight to the next gate for Ercan.. FANTASTIC!!!

normally for the lat few years the plane parks in down town Istanbull coach to a gate /doors up some staires through full blown security belts off boots off comuters out of bags BHX & LHR
This time on monday air doc up the ramp and man waves you through to upper floor no security "DELIGHT people I was talking to in March same experience we arrived after them and we still had car coach park security blabla
When its good its vey good when its bad its awful
