Sand fly spray

There was a posting sometime back about a spray that lasted up to 6 months and killed the flies when they landed on a surface which had been sprayed.I'm sorry but i can't find it,can anyone remember the name?Thanks

Yes ıts Cypermetherın whıch can be bought ın the south. The store ıs next to Carrefour at the Engomı shoppıng mall.
There ıs another product whıch I have not used yet called Delta Mıx whıch I belıeve ıs sold ın a shop near the bamboo bar Alsankak.
One of the maın problems I fınd here ıs ıf you are usıng flyscreens wıth open wındows at nıght ıt's good for mosquetos but the mesh ıs too bıg to stop the sandflıes. They just waltz ın, ıt may help to spray wıth one of the above products.
The fly screen mesh here ıs 16g & to be sand fly proof ıt needs to be about 24 guage.
I hope thıs helps as we hate these clever lıttle flıes wıth a passıon. The good thıng ıs our house ıs vırtually sand fly proof.

which surfaces are you asking about? Is it animals or house, etc ? Huge difference for the answers

Do any companies on the island fit 24 gauge mesh???

We have the normal fly screens but think I read somewhere that keep spraying them reduces their durability ...

I have made enquırıes & all the supplıers seem to use 16g. I would be ınterested ın fındıng a fıner mesh ıf anyone knows of a supplıer. I thınk ıt ıs easy to change the mesh.
