From a web developers point of view, can be improved, but definitely the way forward for businesses in the TRNC. Businesses need to realise that internet sales have catapulted over the years and if you are not taking advantage then you could be holding your business back from potentially developing further.

Are you offering, soner. The guy who has struggled with the help of some students to get all these items on the web coujld do with help or at least good suggestions. And I think he deserves succvess. He is a super chap and really a brilliant teachers who thought his career here would be an academic one. Strange how life pushes us on tonew pastures!

Marion, yes sure do put me in touch, maybe we can meet up when I return to Cyprus. It is very important that websites are coded correctly for search engine optimisation. This site has no keywords incorporated to help get top position on search engine listings. Getting on first page of google for instance would dramatically increase your sites traffic and if marketed properly it would improve sales. A little hint: "written text is king when it comes to optimisation". The animated flash and large images will penalise the site and will have no chance of reaching a good indexed position on search engines. Not too sure how people look for things in the TRNC, but in the UK, yellow pages, or Yell.com for instance are hardly used. When someone is looking for something, ie shop, website, services, they do a search on Google. If you are not on the 1st page of Google for your services or products, then you may well as not be on it at all.

Top ranking on Google can not be guaranteed, this is impossible so if it is offered then there is something wrong going on so don't go near the company that offers this. However, it is achievable and there are loop hole that can be used for new websites to get top positions. My company will not guarantee this but we can show that we are confident in want we do and what we do achieve.

Sadly not yet. Early days. But he is hoping it can be wider. At the moment only really Esentepe (at a crunch) to Karisyaka and maybe up to Kyrenia Bogaz. it is a matter of making it ecvonomically viable. hopefully it could be island wide)
