I had a look round the Arkin Palm Beach Hotel a couple of years ago, it was very nice and has good reviews on Trip Adviser. This hotel is located right by the fenced off area of Maras.

Nice hotel. It seems strange looking at the buildigns with their concrete rot through the barbed wire fence, but it is a nice hotel with good facilities and many people go and stay there. The President's wife was there with friends last time I was there, so all the bestpeople go there!
And for those who don't know, it is the same owner as The Colony, and the House and Garden Restaurant opposite the Colony.

I didn't mean me - I was there for a wedding! I meant the President's wife and her friends.!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!I don't get to stay in hotels these days, but it is a great setting for a wedding out on the special covered area all at sea!!!!

have stayed twice at the Arkin Palm Beach Hotel and the service, food and ambiance was top class. There is an indoor pool, sauna and steam room all overlooking the beach/rocks towards Maras. If you like The Colony or The Housein Kyrenia you wouldn't be disappointed.

We stopped a few years ago at The Salamis Bay Conti Hotel, nice hotel, lovely beach setting. Close to Famagusta and also not far from Boyaz.

There is a lot of construction going on at the Iskele municipal beach, next door to Long Beach resort. Should be brilliant...Next Year!
