Internet/ntv problems

Am a bit of a div when it comes to internet/ntv but have been having really bad problems for the last few days. Have done speed tests and mbs have been over 7mb, have asked ntv who tell me there aren't any problems with their servers, that it is a 'connectivity' problem with TRNC and Turkey. Same thing happening again today - is anyone else experiencing the same, or are we just the lucky ones?

thank you rocking, took your advice and checked out the info on there - posted my reply to their threads which basically means, both ntv and multimax are doing all they can to remedy a problem that this not actually down to their own systems. Had a comprehensive reply from my email to ntv, which makes me older and wiser; under the circumstances I appreciate their quick response.

Last few days have been awful with internet. Can't download can't skype anyone back home and the whole thing just freezes, can't even log off!!! Very pissed off with TRNC at the moment with power cuts and all. Worse than third world and really wish I was back home. hopefully, it will pass I'll put it down to hormones/mood swings but wish we could get better service here, they charge enough for it.

Bethany, Maybe living in the RoC would suit you better then, check out the prices for internet here - http://www.paphosbroadband.com/pricing.html - then compare them with what you are paying for speed/cost?? Perhaps its the grass always greener syndrome??
No matter how hard the past, you can always begin again.

Bethany, I do not know where your 'home' is (mine is here). waddo, however, makes a good point - move to the RoC, or back home and then compare prices. Calling our host country "3rd world" will merely alienate the TC community even more against 'whingeing Pom expats (yabancılar)'. I hope your hormonal inbalance/mood swings improve quickly.

Hi Bethany. Are you with Multimax internet ? If you are please send me a pm (private message) via this forum with your customer name and I will investigate your connection for you. I do have to say though from the limited info above and specifically the 'the whole thing just freezes, can't even log off' part it may be that there is an issue with your machine rather than the internet connection per se ?
