Recommendation for a harbour restaurant- The Tower Cafe and
My husband's daughters discovered this gem by accident last Sunday lunchtime so we thought we would try for dinner and drinks last night. Very pleasantly surprised! To be found right at the end of harbour as you walk round the horseshoe and forms part of castle. Menu is basic, the usual Chicken Shish etc, but the food was delicious, very well presented and the ambience inside is wonderful. On two levels with lots of little alcoves, service was attentive but not overbearing. The four of us had 6 drinks between us ranging from Brandy Sour, glasses of wine and beers plus 4 main dishes and it all came to under £50 , which we thought was very reasonable for the harbour at least. We will visit again, and can I reiterate I am only related to my fellow diners and not the owners!

I also recommend Corner restaurant next to Highline Paragliding and Café Chimera both on the harbour and excellent. (Not related to them either) not cheap,( as in burger cheap) but good food in both and friendly staff.

Yes we can also recommend the Corner restaurant it is the only place we will eat in the harbour. Does the Tower Cafe have outside seating?

So can we, after 3 years of not eating in the Harbour, last Sunday we had lunch and dinner at the Corner Restaurant, every thing was very good. Will be returning on a regular basis.

Do not waste your time visiting Lagoon, opposite and owned by Niazis.
Waited well over an hour for our mains, whilst the locals were being served after coming in after us. We decided if we were not eating by 10pm, we would pay for what we had and leave, they did not believe us!
We left.
Different waiters told us 2 minutes, then 5 minutes. I went into the kitchen to check for myself. No way were they going to be ready. My paella, was standing getting drier by the minute.
Also, they tried very hard to get us to have the fish meze. We were made to feel bad by not ordering it. The same with our choice of wine, which arrived opened and poured like a child!
Rant over. Had some great meals there with lots of visitors. Back to Grida Balik from now on.
