My cousin is in Ayia Napa and would like to visit us, Is there a crossing closer than Metehan where we could pick them up if they get a taxi???

Yes, there is a crossing at Pergamos/Bayamadu and another just past the British Army base at Ayios Nikolaus near Famagusta. Both are clearly marked on any tourist map of Cyprus.

From the south they need to head for Pyla off the Ayia Napa - Laranca motorway at junction 59 (the one after Dhekelia) . The road then leads to the Crossing which they call Pyla (Pyle) and we all know is actually at Beyarmudu (Pergamos)

Agree with above.

Those two crossings would be the closest.

Had great tours at Ayios Nikolaos and also lived on Pergamos Camp.....happy days

I remember handing over Pergamos Camp in 1998 when I was stationed in Dhekelia.

I remember Pergamos Camp being razed to the ground when I was in Dhekelia in 1997/1998. The locals took anything of value (and not so) from the rubble.

I was stationed at Ayios Nik and Pergamos 1960/61/62.

Ayios Nik was the best place I was ever stationed!

Went to St Johns school at RAF Episkopi from 70 -73 whilst Dad was stationed at Akrotiri...great school memories.

Then back again from 83 - 86 working at Ay Nik but living in Dhekelia. Then back again 91 - 93 again to Ay Nik but then living at Pergamos....fantastic memories of those special years.
