new indian restaurant - la rosh

We tried this new Indian in Alsancak last night & cant recommend it highly enough. We like to think that we are fairly knowledgeable with regard to Indian food as have spent many years visiting various areas of Birmingham & Manchester famed for their 'curry miles' & also tried most of the ones here. It may look a little primitive & basic but cant praise the food highly enough or the new owner Abdul & staff. Also its one of the few restaurants that have really comfortable chairs. Garlic mushrooms & mixed starter, lamb sag & chicken vindaloo,tarka dhal, rice & chapattis, 3 beers 2 glasses of rose & coffee & brandy 127tl.

Its on Mare Monte beach road,just off main Girne Lapta Rd.No proper sign as yet.They will be doing Sunday roasts at some point.

Tried La Rosh last night for a takeaway.Long wait for food,well worth the it.Food very,very good.
