Lactose free products?
Has anyone spotted Lactose free products such as almond milk, hazelnut milk or coconut milk (in cartons rather than tins)? North or South.

Maybe this could be of interest to you...
Goat's milk is a natural alternative to cow milk and can comfortably be consumed by many patients who suffer from cow milk allergies or sensitivity.
Although goat milk, like cow's milk and human milk, contains lactose, many people with lactose intolerance can drink goat milk. Why? It has been hypothesized that the reason lies in goat milk's superior digestibility. Goat milk is more completely and easily absorbed than cow's milk, leaving less undigested residue behind in the colon to quite literally ferment and cause the uncomfortable symptoms of lactose intolerance.

I always get the lactose free soya milk in cartons by Koop. They do sweetened and unsweetened, which I prefer but can't always get. All supermarkets sell it. Also a more expensive version, but I cant remember the make.

It is quite straight forward to make your own Almond milk if you can get the almonds cheap enough. Theres loads of info on the internet, just google "how to make almond milk".
I have done it before with good results.

Aitchie - thanks for the info.
I have found that Lemar stock Icim brand lactose free cow's milk in 500ml cartons - I don't need it until Christmas so hopefully they will still stock it then - the sell by date for the current stock is end of September.
