Residency Karpas Iskele Region

Hi everyone for those in the Karpas and Iskele region Just a Note my Wife and I have just started on the road to renewing our residency following the normal procedure Muhtar letter and 2 Sigs 1.50TL each. Went to Iskele Police But we had to produce original copies only. Was issued with the blood and Xray form, BUT was told you can only go to the state Hospital Famagusta apparently they will not accept private at this present time. If its your turn to renew have 2 photocopies of your passport handy to pay the bill before the blood test which was 135TL each for the blood test. We also had a scan/Xray of our chests and not the TB tests as before. We were also told our results will not be ready for 3 days blood and xray results. You may already be aware of the changes. We hope this helps you. As for what may happen in Lefkosa Who Knows???

Thanks for posting anupdate on this. We are not due until next year, something else will have changed by then!

At present if you have to have your tests get there around 8-8.30am as it was very busy, apparently they close the test centre at 11am or so we were informed and as you say rules can change, mind you when we collected the blood/xray results on Friday at 12pm the place was deserted so the information given could be accurate again hope this helps
