Turkcell customer service??

Hi can anyone advise how to contact them, just received notification of my mobile bill which is ASTRONOMICAL!

You are better off going into one of the main shops and speak directly to one of their advisors

Yes I know but no doubt they will be mega busy tomorrow & Tuesday & I really would like to know now as it is worrying me. My bill has never been as large even when away on a 3 week holiday & ringing UK most days.

Don't know if this applies to you but when my friend bought a new phone with internet access first month her bill was mega high. Turkcell checked her phone and internet had been running all the time. She didn't realise she had to disconnect it. Next month she had a normal amount on her bill.

Hi thanks kedikat but I do not have internet on my phone it is a Blackberry & Turkcell do not provide it for that type.
I have phoned them 4440533 apparently it is for roaming & could be charges up to 3 months old so that would explain it will go to office next week & collect detail.

You can also arrange to get details of your calls and charges on line each month.foc

Ozankoys, how long ago was the holiday when you rang the UK a lot? The reason I am asking is that I have also had an astronomical bill this month. I have had cause to ring the UK a few times so was expecting it to be more than usual, but not so much. I am thinking that they have increased the call charges to the UK by a lot recently.

Hi the holiday was in April & I made a short call to UK every two or 3 days will go & get details next week.

Strange. I left Telsim because my bill was horrendous every month. Never had an itemized bill, no one would tlel me why, and when they said I could not pay with my International Credit card after ten years of so doing, I went to Turkcell and have got their platinum package, which means I cannot even tlak my way through the minutes I am given each month. Yes, really!!!! Can you imagine that! Wopnderufl package for me.

However, when I went to Itlay, I used it a little for local calls and I knew I would pay extra. I had ot pay 60tl over and above my package. So, certainly roaming is very pricey.

But I would thoroughly recommend thei r platinum package as you get loads of calls and 4gb as well. The only problem is the rate that the battery gets used up.

If you go into the Turkcell office on the main road at kyrenia near the roundabout, they are SO helpful in there. I never got the same helpfulness at Telsim, and when I asked them to get an answer frm Head Office I was always told I had to phone myself. I cannot praise Turkcell enough!

And do let us know what the answer is - as we are all intrigued.

Did you manage to speak to them, Ozankoys? We have also had a very high bill this month.

Hi lozz also had a huge bill which the bank pay automatically, so will be stopping payment this month.

Got mine messaged by phone, not huge, but higher than usual. Will wait till I get the itemised calls on line, after the 15th..

I also had a huge phone bill this went to office in Girne by the round about but it was heaving so I will wait till I get my itemized bill and then assess it from that and then take another trip to turkcell office

I have just received my itemized invoice for July and every entry coincides with all the visits I made back to uk for medical treatment going right back to January. I also checked against previous invoices and nothing was duplicated. How come they can put some entries on correctly and leave others for months. It has never happened to me before in the 8 years I have had my phone on contract.

Actually got my itemised bill yesterday, payment date due was 15th. Some calls to the Charity Red Crescent for Gaza were shown, forgot about them. Basically seems OK now.
