Belediyesi for property tax.

Hi everyone , I have just joined forum and I am looking for help as to where to pay my council tax.
I have a villa in Zeytinlik and have been told to go to Girne office to pay tax.
Can anyone tell me where to go?

The tax office is near the Wednesday market (on the left side before you reach the Police Station). Cost approx 210tl

The cost is 1tl per square metre plus a bit more if you have a pool.

Please ensure they only charge you for the covered/tiled/roofed property, plus a pool (if you have one). When we registered our place with Esentepe they charged us for the total plot area - we knew no difference. Having discovered 3 years later and over 500 TL to our detriment of their mistake, just laughed when we requested a rebate. Reported it to Girne Land Office, Cyprus shoulder shrug! Spoke to the Mayor, eventually, another shoulder shrug and he had, now, forgotten how to speak/understand English - our fault, we had insufficient Turkish. Suggest you take proof of the total size of the roofed area. Watch them, else you'll be yet another example of the 'expat cash-cow syndrome' prevailing here.

It's 1tl per square metre of covered area and 25tl for a pool. They over charged us in the first year, so the following year we took a copy of our plans and had the annual payment reduced, a refund for the previous year, no chance.
