Solar air con unit
Has anyone yet purchased a solar air con unit ? Looking for feedback . Cheers

As someone who has a knowledge of air con, I can only imagine that solar powered air con is a normal mains powered unit connected to a solar array and inverter. This might be an option for an off-grid application, but poses the question about using the air con at night. It would be a big battery that could maintain power to the air con all night.

Actually quite interesting.. I guess the next large push in tech will make it all worthwhile but at present the figures just don't stack up for me....
