Getting from RAF Akrotiri to Lapta

Don't know if anyone can help but have just been informed by my grandson he has got a flight to RAF Akrotiri arriving 20.35 tomorrow (Sat 9th aug) ! Any ideas on transport to one of the crossing points where we can get him collected please ?
Hope someone knows the area

Unfortunately on Saturdays the last intercity bus leaves the "Limassol Port" bus station at 20:30.
If he can stay the night on the base, then the next one leaves on Sunday morning at 07:00. It would take him all the way to the Solomos Square bus station near the southern end of Ledra Street.
