ENT (ears, nose and throat) specialist, Girne or west of

Can anyone advise of, or recommend, an ENT specialist in Girne itself or out west from Girne please?

I visited the Kyrenia private hospital cant remember his name but excellent man. Coming past HSBC heading for Girne its the road on your right and hospitals on the right.

It is Kyrenia Medical Centre ( Kamiloglu Hastansi) the ENT Doctor I had was Dr. Alper Baynar couple of years ago so not sure if he is still there
but he was very good and got me sorted!

a1sysman for the last 2 years I have suffered with a throat infection ! Having been to many ENT specialists here including the Near east Hospital the one who cured me is Dr Ahmet Varis ! He is situated in an apartment block just west of Girne centre ! He speaks quite good English and has very up to date equipment ! his telephone number is 0392-816-0361 If you are stuck as to where he is PM me and i will do my best to steer you in !! regards Barry

I also went to Dr. Varis. I had an ear infection which he sorted out. Not with antibiotics which impressed me. Told me off for cleaning my ears too much and told me to leave them alone. So far I have, and have had no more ear problems. His clinic is in the same road as Patara City apartments.

Ok, appointment made with Dr Varis for this afternoon. We will be coming from Lapta into Girne. I know where HSBC is but cannot place where Patara City apartments are. Please can someone give me directions. Thanks.

When you get to Girne, at the first roundabout (where you would go left to HSBC) take the right, and Patara City is along the road on the right. Don't know whereabouts the doctors is in relation to Patara.

Found it. Raif Denktas Caddesi is the road name, going up (away from the sea, towards the mountain) the clinic is on the left hand side, clearly signed. Thorough examination and explanation of what issues were identified. We go back for a follow up in 10 days time. Fingers crossed the treatment course does the trick.
