New Mattress

On the advice and suggestion in a thread some time ago, we went to Yatkam in Lefkosa (think that's it), yesterday. The Manager couldn't have been more helpful and insisted he took us to the depot about half a mile away, so that we could be assured we were not sold the show mattress. He was very apologetic that he could not deliver it yesterday afternoon!! To fit our commitments we settled on Monday am. We paid 1600tl (but then received a 50tl indirim and 2 glasses of peach juice) for a large Crown mattress with a lovely deep soft fitted topper. They are also have a good range of genuine Tempur mattress and pillows. I would recommend this company any time.

It's Yatsan. We have a kingsize 'crown' and it's the best mattress I've ever had, very comfortable indeed. The price you paid is good too as we paid €500 about 3 years ago. You can also buy the Yatsan range from Olgun in Karakum. Happy sleeping

Yes but did they take away the old mattress?

Whereabouts is Yatsan? Are they easy to find?

Yes Guru. When you get to the Gonyelli roundabout at the end of the Girne-Lefkosa road, turn left. Go pass the turning to the NE University, then past the turning to the Ataturk stadium, get into right hand lane and take right at the roundabout. Yatsan are about 300 yards on the LHS. I haven't asked about disposal of old mattress because we are going to use it and put on top of another mattress, to make it higher and easier for someone to get out of bed!! I've also fallen in love with a dining table and chairs, but its going to have to wait.
