The disgusting video that is doing the rounds, I like many others watched it. It is heartbreaking, could some one please with Computer skills get it onto this forum.

Then could we maybe do something to make sure that this evil bitch is prosecuted (or maybe tortured slowly)

Possibly there could be a fund set up with Turkish solicitor in Girne to ensure that police do investigate and action is taken.

I am open to ideas, but just feel that we need to do something, of course this means nothing until you have seen this horrendous act.

Maybe Soner could help us with his expertise.

Lee i watched this video or at least some of it before i had to turn it off. To be honest i am not sure what or if anything can be done from here, might be worth checking animal charities in Turkey, they will have much more power than anyone from here. I have just done a quick Google check for animal charities in Turkey and there are a few.

The woman concerned in this horrendous act of killing the two kittens was arrested last week by police in Fatih, Turkey.

She was named as 27 year old Derya Kocak.

She was released into the care of her family as she was deemed to be suffering from mental health issues.

I have not seen it and don,t want to dreadful how anyone can do this,if this girl is mentaly unstable goes part way to excusing her actions. But she must never be allowed to be in contact with animals again.

I can not stand to look at the atrocities that are carried out by humans on other humans or humans on animals, it does not enhance my life to see these images, I get sad, I get angry, but there is very little I can do about any off it, its not a case of putting my head in the sand either. If I want to see sick images I can google and search for them.

me too, i get too upset where any animal abuse is concerned and prefer not to watch as then the images haunt me. they have better laws concerning animals in Turkey and take good care of strays with good advertising promoting it. it's a shame that the authorities here can't adopt a similar attitude, it makes me so depressed to hear of defenseless animals being abused, shot, dumped etc etc.

I have to agree, please do not put pictures or videos on here. We know how cruel people can be, let's just leave it to our imagination please.

Normally I would say to share any video if it meant we could be spurred to do something. But in this instance it would appear the woman in question has mental health issue,s and so she is more to be pitied than blamed. Thus there is nothing we can do especially as the authorities are doing something.

I have not seen it nor know what it is, but I can guess, and thanks Johnny Lee fo r bringing it to our attention. YO u never know just how the authorities got to track her down, and it is only thorugh public concern (often) that they actually do something.

One of the problems of modern technology is that evil is brought to our doo9rstep and into our living rooms in a way that it never was before!

Marion, A link can be shared for disgusting videos and photos, that will leave it to the individual to open it. A lot of people don't want the cruelty forced down their throats. Do you have the same view of sharing the beheading video that is doing the rounds so that will spur people on to do something?
