car proplem

this is my first automatic car i have had.it works fine during the day but at night it not working,i think i should of got a manual car.

Is this by any chance the P/N/D problem?
"N" does not actually refer to "nighttime" and "D" does not refer to "Daytime"; in fact, they indicate "Neutral" and "Drive" respectively.....
(and incidentally, "P" does not refer to a toilet break, but to "park" (as in when you leave your vehicle)....
