Dog going to UK - Foster Home Found
Hiya
As part of the Hope 4 Pets Group, I became involved in an urgent set of circumstances at the compound for stray dogs based at the local rubbish in Famagusta.
The conditions were dire, but we've made a lot of progress since. A friend of mine would like to adopt this pup to Wales, but we need a foster home at this end so the pup can go through the Pet Passport process in safety.
Is there any kind person out there willing to offer a home for 2-3 months and I will guarantee you will not get landed with the pup. I will also supply all food etc and any necessary vet costs.
It does look a bit grubby at the moment, but nothing a nice bath wouldn't solve! It is a very friendly, playful and loving wee pup. All we need is a roof over it's head?

Can you let me know whether the foster "parent" will be paid all the Vets bills in advance, plus extra in case any of the Vets procedures don't work first time and have to be redone. Thanks

Hi Sophie
That's something that could certainly be considered if it meant this pup finds a foster home.

If I didn't have 3 I would consider fostering especially with the reassurance I wasn't going to be stuck with him. Fingers crossed somebody will help

Just look at him now, amazing what regular food and water and a little bit of TLC can do.

Wonderful. I was about to try to get him downstairs to take it on, but thank heavens you have found somewhere. Not sure Alan could cope with another animal to fall ov er. Wonderful news, he has found someone to continue to make him healthy and happy.

Delighted to see your news. Who is arranging all the transportation arrangements. They can be a minefield if you don't know what you are doing?.

We have met up with an animal freight company who is based in Lefkosia who can deal with everything involved in flying an animal from here! Snags and all!
They are a family business, found them to be very knowledgable ( Dad is an ex Customs Man), son speaks very good English and we felt very comfortable with them. We were not ''coughing'' at the price, either! Will be able to give details at next meeting if required. BBB's Other Half!
