Can you still get a visa on arrival at Ataturk Airport or do you have to get an e visa in advance?

You can still buy it at Ataturk. it was 10 pounds, but I have a feeling it's gone up. they will not accept Turkish lira !!!!!

You can do either, they accept credit card online, just a quick form to fill in. No queuing, no worrying about exchange rates (was once years ago given an exchange rate of 3 lira to the pound when the real exchange rate was 2.2 lira!)

The cost for mine was $20 which on the day was 43TL ..
43TL is what I paid .. At todays rate of 3.57 it equates to £12.04p

Doing the visa online I could only pay in US Dollars by credit card. It is for 90 days stay in 6 months, you can't stay for more than 90 days in the 6 months although you can use it more than once. I had 10 days in June Istanbul and using it for 14 days in Cesme so until November I have 66 days left.

Make sure you use the government site to organise your e-visa which you just print off as other sites are charging a lot more!!!

Ours cost £12 per visa and valid for one year so good value really
