Mera 'pink carton' milk

Does anyone know why this seems to have disappeared from all the shops? There is Koop skimmed milk but it is more expensive.....

We buy ours regularly from Hos Bes, haven't noticed any shortage there.

I asked in Atakara, was just told '' finished''.

Atakara have the habit of saying "finished" when they mean "run out" Earlier this year someone in the store said the same thing about Ryvita, but 2 weeks later they had stocked up. BTW Mera is owned by the same people who own Lemar together with the farms that produce the milk. KOOP is Co-op to us and I think has always been more expensive.

I just wish they would produce some decent fresh milk that actually lasted more than two days. Trouble is I've been spoiled by Pure filtered milk, Cravendale semi skimmed et al.

No confidence in the rest milk here.
Had it off when I open it or off within a couple of days!
No such problem with milk bought in the south

I'm only a holiday visitor, but I know this one!
At least, the one I use is about 3Km west of the LA Hotel/resort on the coast road (Fevzi Çakmak Cd), just before you get to Club Simena.....
If there are more than one, sorry......

Yes back in Catalkoy Lemar today... I'm guessing it was a production issue because all the very odd replies to questions we got were simply bonkers....

It wasn't in any supermarket in the region for days and yet we were told 'we are running down our stock before a stock take...' which wouldn't explain why all the other supermarkets weren't stocking it too...

Telling porkies seems to come naturally to supermarket staff... today we queries why nuts in Tempo weren't at the advertised price answer ' the promotion is finished' which didn't explain why the barcode quoted a different item!

Yes, they do tell porkies! I complained about the ladies toilets in Lemar in Bogaz several months ago. Disgusting! 'It will be dealt with today' when I spoke to the manager. I was there three weeks ago, exactly the same condition!! I was in a rush, so no time to complain, yet again!!
I am there this weekend, so will check again and report back.
