Can anyone who has been on the trip say if it would be suitable for elderley person who has a problem walking distances and uphill ? We would love to go but am not sure if it would be too much for one of our family and would rather know before booking them onto the trip with us.

Been there several times Sally, and my husband has bene a few. He cannot walk but enjoys sitting in the square watching the world go by, and having his lunch et,c etc. So I would suggest that anyone less mobile than we average osuls, goes along for the experience, and just soaks up the atmosp0here etc. And get others to tak e photographs!

It really is well worth going. It is a special place and interesting that it has been a virtual enclave since 1963 and promises to change it are very slow in happening!

We went on the last trip and I doubt if you would have any problems; very little walking and no hills. An excellent trip and, by the way, the chicken cooked in the oven was excellent.

Hi sally4670,

There is a little walking to do as mostly you are taken around in one of our minibuses. I can't really see it being too much of a problem but if does become one whilst on the trip then speak with Raziye and she can make sure that your relative is transported as near to a door as possible.

This trip is a must, with little walking as the minibus conveys you almost everywhere. If tiring whilst on the village tour, ask to be conveyed to the local restaurant and await the others who will lunch there (delicious locally produced food too). Shaded area, cool Efes and superb food/service/hospitality - utopia!
